Do I have to move my domain to Terminz or cancel my provider?
No. Your domain stays where you bought it, for example at IONOS, STRATO, All-Inkl, Host Europe, Hetzner or United Domains. Your contract there continues; Terminz only links visits to your website with your Terminz page.
What happens to my email addresses like info@my-salon.de?
Nothing. Your email records (MX) stay untouched. You send and receive mail without interruption, just as before.
Do my customers still see terminz.com in the address bar when booking?
No. Home page, booking (/appointment), all service, combo and offer pages (/service/..., /combo/..., /offer/...), contact and legal pages run on your own domain.
How does Terminz protect my website from hackers and the “Not secure” warning?
Terminz issues the certificate (HTTPS) for your domain and renews it in time, so the browser always shows the lock. Attacks, spam bots and overload attempts are caught before they reach your page. And since no WordPress runs, there are no old plugins to hack.
I know nothing about tech or domains. Can I do this?
Yes. Terminz recognises more than 15 common providers and walks you through setup step by step. Where your provider supports it, one click is enough. If someone should help you, send them a setup link without sharing your password. And if you'd rather not do anything yourself, Terminz sets up the domain for you for a one-off fee.
Do my existing links and printed QR codes keep working?

After cancelling, your domain stays connected for another 30 days and then forwards to your Terminz page for 90 days. Book again during that time and there is no setup to pay.
