Your logo on the reader
The card reader's idle screen shows your logo instead of a manufacturer's. Configurable per location.
What card payments cost
The fee comes from Stripe and is billed transparently. Terminz adds no commission of its own on top of a booking.
Current rates are published by Stripe. We earn from the software subscription, not from your turnover.

Frequently asked questions
Which card reader does Terminz recommend?
The Stripe Reader S700 (€259 net, one-off). It has a 5.5-inch touchscreen, runs over Wi-Fi or Ethernet and supports chip & PIN, contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay. For smaller counters the BBPOS WisePad 3 (€59 net) is enough.
Can I use my existing card reader?
No. Payments run through Stripe Terminal, and exactly two devices are supported: the Stripe Reader S700 and the BBPOS WisePad 3. A reader from another provider cannot be connected.
Which payment methods are supported?
Chip & PIN, contactless payment by card and smartphone (Apple Pay, Google Pay), plus common debit and credit cards. girocard support is currently being set up — details will be provided during onboarding.
Does the hardware work with the TSE requirement?
Yes. The Terminz POS signs till transactions through a certified TSE under KassenSichV. The till is included in Komplett; you add the TSE per location as the TSE module.
Do I need a receipt printer?
No. Receipts go out digitally by QR code or email. The tablet till needs no receipt printer and no cash drawer.
Where do I buy the device?
Directly from Stripe, out of your Terminz dashboard. Stripe is the seller, invoices you, ships the device and covers warranty and returns. Terminz does not sell hardware and earns nothing on it.
