What the law requires
Seven obligations apply to a service business in Germany. Here is when each started, who it applies to, and what Terminz takes care of.

TSE requirement for electronic tills
- Applies to
- Every business with an electronic POS system. An open cash drawer is exempt, but hardly workable alongside digital booking.

Receipt obligation

- Every business with an electronic till, on every single transaction.

Registering your till with the tax office
- Applies to
- Every electronic till in use has to be reported to the tax office (§ 146a (4) AO).

Process documentation under GoBD
- Applies to
- Every business keeping digital books. It is asked for at the latest during a cash audit.

Being able to receive e-invoices
- Applies to
- Every company doing business with other companies, whatever its size.

- Every employer has to record the start, end and duration of daily working time.
