Reading your analytics

Your analytics show how the last few days went at your location. You'll find them in the menu under Financials → Reports → Analytics (/manager/analytics). A small help icon next to the title (“How to read your analytics”) explains the page.

Choosing the period

At the top, pick 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. 30 days is selected by default. The period always ends today, counted in your location's time zone.

If there was not a single appointment in the period, you'll see “There were no appointments in this period”. Pick a longer period then.

Tapping a chart

Tap a day in a chart and its value appears above the chart. Tap the same day again to clear the selection, and the total for the whole period is back.

Revenue

The “Revenue” section shows revenue per day as a line. At the top is the “Revenue in this period” and, next to it, by how many percent it rose or fell against the period of the same length before (“vs. the period before”).

It counts completed appointments at their booked price. Below the chart, one sentence names your best day and the average on days with appointments.

Appointments

The “Appointments” section shows every appointment in the period by its status, as stacked columns: “Completed”, “Open”, “No-show” and “Cancelled”. At 90 days each column covers a week, otherwise a day.

Services

The “Services” section lists your services by revenue, with the number of bookings and a bar compared with the strongest service. The top five come first; Show all … expands the rest.

Team

The “Team” section lists your staff members by revenue. Under each name you see how many appointments the person completed and what share of the whole team's revenue that is.

Customers

At the top are three numbers: “New” (customers who joined your customer list in the period), “Total” and “Staying away”.

“Staying away” are customers without an appointment for at least 60 days, sorted by the revenue they have brought so far. The list shows the ten most important ones with the time since their last appointment. Tap a name to open the customer file, where you can message the person or book an appointment.

FAQ

Why are “Services”, “Team” and “Customers” missing? You don't have the “Advanced Financial Analyses” permission. The owner of the location can grant it to you under permissions.

Why does the revenue differ from the financial report? Your analytics count the booked price of completed appointments. The financial report counts till receipts, so what was actually paid, net and after discounts.

Can I choose my own period? No, there are only 7, 30 and 90 days. For a whole month or year, use the financial report.
