Reading the Till Overview

The Till Overview shows you at a glance what has gone through the register today, how revenue is broken down, and what Stripe has most recently paid out. You can find it in the menu under Financials → Daily → Till overview (/manager/payment-dashboard). It is part of the Complete Till plan. The page has no input fields: it's read-only.

If your subscription ends, “Your books stay open” will appear at the top. The page remains open for viewing, but you can no longer process payments.

The four numbers at the top

The numbers always apply to today's date at your location, calculated based on the location's time zone. You cannot select a different date here. For previous days, use “Till Settlement” or “Financial report”.

  • Total revenue: Total of all payments for today, including the number of transactions.
  • Net revenue: Total sales minus today's refunds. The note below shows the refunded amount (“after … in refunds”) or “no refunds”.
  • Refunds: Total of today's refunds, with the number of transactions (“… refund transactions”) or “none”.
  • Terminz payment fee: The fee incurred for today's card payments processed through Stripe. Below that is the effective rate as a percentage of total sales (“… % effective rate”).

This includes payments processed through the till or the till app, including split payments. Archived payments are not included.

By Payment Method

Block “By payment method” breaks down today's sales by payment method: Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Split, or Other. For each line, you'll see the number of payments, the percentage share, and the amount; the most common payment method is listed at the top. If no payments have been made today, it will show “No transactions today.”

Payouts

The “Payouts” block lists the five most recent payouts from Stripe, including the amount, arrival date, and status: Pending, In Progress, Paid, Failed, or Canceled. If there are none yet, it shows “No payouts yet.”

If your Stripe account isn't connected or the payouts can't be loaded, you'll see the message “Could not load payouts. Make sure Stripe is connected.” instead. Tapping on it takes you to the Card Payments section under Settings → Checkout & Payment → Subscription & Stripe (/manager/settings/billing).

Card Readers

The block “Card readers” displays each card reader by name, type, and serial number, along with a status indicator: Online, Offline, or Disabled. The number of devices is shown in the top-right corner of the block. If there are no devices, it says “No readers registered.”. If Stripe isn't connected yet, you'll see “Connect Stripe to register a reader.” as a link to set it up.

Connect Stripe

If the connection is missing, a note appears at the top “Connect Stripe to accept payments”: “Set up your Stripe account to track revenue, manage payouts, and use card readers.” The Set up Stripe button opens the Card Payments section. If everything is connected, the link “Stripe account” in the top right corner leads to the same section.

Notes at the Bottom

Two notes at the bottom of the page explain the framework: TSE signs cash payments in accordance with KassenSichV, and refunds are recorded as cancellation entries and remain auditable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my cash payment from today missing? The overview only includes transactions processed through the register or the register app. An appointment that hasn't been paid for yet won't appear here.

Can I view a different day? Not on this page. It always shows today.

Where can I see all individual payments? Under Finance → Daily → Payments.

I don't see the page in the menu. You lack the “View Basic Financial Reports” permission, or your location does not have the Complete Till plan.
