Marketing Overview: Promotions, Discount Codes, Campaigns, and Reachable Contacts

The overview is the Marketing homepage. You don't create or save anything here: You can see at a glance what advertising you've set up and who you're allowed to contact, and you can navigate to the different sections from here. You'll find it in the menu under Marketing & website → Overview (/manager/marketing). The page title is “Marketing”. It applies to the location selected at the top of the dashboard.

On your first visit, a brief explanation of the page will appear; later, you can access it via the guide icon next to the title.

The numbers at the top

A row with five numbers (the second one is missing if you're not authorized to view actions):

  • Reachable contacts: who you're allowed to email. Only confirmed contacts count, and existing customers are included only as long as their last visit is still within the time window. That's why the number is smaller than your customer list.
  • Running promotions: how many campaigns are currently running.
  • Active codes: how many discount codes are active.
  • Emails (30 days): how many campaign emails have been sent in the last 30 days.
  • Bookings from campaigns (30 days): how many bookings in the last 30 days came from campaigns.

If your location's privacy policy does not yet mention the stamp card and campaign statistics, the note “Update from template” appears above it (see “Set up a loyalty card (stamp card)”).

The Four Fields

Each field displays up to three entries and has View all in the top-right corner, which leads into the section. If a field is empty, it displays a sentence and a button to create a new entry. If a field fails to load, it displays “The data could not be loaded.” with Try again.

  • Promotions (only with the “Create Discounts and Offers” permission, starting with the Complete plan): the current promotions that are set to end next, showing the service, remaining duration, and discount (e.g., “−20%”). If none are currently active, the field displays the scheduled promotions and, below that, “No promotions are currently active.” The footer indicates how many are scheduled and the total number of bookings resulting from promotions. Leads to “Create a promotion for services”.
  • Discount codes: The active codes with the most redemptions, showing the name, code, discount, and “Redeemed N×.” The footer lists the number of redemptions and the total discount granted. If none are active, it displays “No active discount code yet.” with Create code. Leads to “Create, Limit, and Manage Discount Codes”.
  • Campaigns: The three most recently created entries, with name, subject, status, and the number of emails sent. The footer displays “Last sent on …” or “Nothing sent yet”. Leads to “Campaigns: Create and send emails to your customers”.
  • Email list: “Reachable” as a large number, with “Confirmed”, “Open”, and “Unsubscribed” below it. You can reach confirmed contacts plus existing customers whose last visit was within the time window. Leads to “Email list: who can receive your promotional emails”.

What the page tells you

  • A promotion lowers the price of a service for everyone. A discount code only takes effect when the customer enters it. You can combine both: the promotion first, then the code on the remainder.
  • Terminz sends advertising only to contacts who have given their consent or are considered existing customers. An unsubscribed address will no longer receive anything, not even through a new campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is “Reachable contacts” smaller than my customer list? Because only confirmed contacts count, and existing customers are only included as long as their last visit was within the specified timeframe—see above.

I don't see field “Promotions”. You lack the “Create Discounts and Offers” permission, or your plan does not include promotions.

Where do I create a campaign? Not here, but in the Campaigns section, via View all in field “Campaigns”.
