My appointments: your own calendar and chair work

As a staff member, view your own appointments, create one, start and finish it, mark a no-show and respond to appointment requests.

Who
Each staff member can view their own appointments. You cannot see your colleagues' appointments. Works with every plan.
Open in the dashboard

As a staff member, you have your own calendar in the menu. It shows only appointments booked with you. Rescheduling, canceling, and reassigning appointments to other people is handled by the manager; you manage your day at the chair.

What's on the page

Open Appointments in the menu. The page is labeled “My appointments” at the top and opens in weekly view. The view, date, and navigation work the same as in the manager's calendar; see “Using the Calendar and Editing Appointments”. Here's what's different for you:

  • There's no filter by staff members and no columns per person, because it's just you.
  • Appointments can't be moved by dragging.
  • The Block, Close business, and Block times online menus aren't available. To mark a time as free, use your availability; see “Availability: Change Your Own Work Hours and Request Time Off.”
  • If appointment requests are awaiting a response, a counter Pending showing the number appears in the top right corner. It only appears if at least one request is pending.

Create an Appointment

  1. Tap Create appointment in the top right corner. Or tap a free time slot in the calendar; the day, time, and your name will already be filled in.
  2. The wizard has the same four steps as in Manager: Client, Service, Time & staff, and Confirmation. Each field is located in “Create an appointment in the dashboard”.
  3. After Create appointment, you'll return to your calendar on the day of the new appointment.

An Appointment in the Appointment List

Tap an appointment to open the appointment sheet. You'll see the customer, service, time, and status. You can't change the time, staff member, service, or note here; these fields are for the Manager.

The status can only change in the following ways:

ButtonWhenResult
Customer is hereConfirmed AppointmentThe appointment is in progress.
CompleteIn ProgressThe appointment is marked as completed.
No-showConfirmed AppointmentThe appointment remains in the history and counts as a no-show.
Showed up after allAppointment marked as a no-showSets it to completed.
Undo completion, Undo startAfter a mistakeThe appointment goes back one step.

Cancel, Confirm for an open appointment, rescheduling and answering a booking request are not available to you. They are also blocked for staff members on the server; any attempt results in “Access denied”.

Responding to Appointment Requests

The location manager decides on a request from the booking page that is still awaiting a response. Review request is missing for you, and the server also rejects the attempt with “Access denied”.
