Booking in deliveries (goods receipt)

When goods arrive, you book them in. Stock rises immediately and the product's purchase price stays current. The “Deliveries” page (/manager/products/receipts) lists all earlier deliveries and is where you record a new one. Open it in Services → Products with the Deliveries button at the top right (only the icon on a phone).

The list

Each row shows the supplier (or “No supplier”), below it the products of the delivery (“Care oil ×6”), then “Arrived”, “Delivery note” (not on a phone), the packs and the “Purchase value”. You can sort by “Arrived” and “Purchase value”. You search and filter by date range and supplier.

If nothing has been recorded yet, it says “No delivery recorded yet” with the note that stock goes up and the purchase price stays current.

Booking in a delivery

  1. Tap Receive a delivery. A form opens with the note “Enter what arrived. Stock goes up right away.”
  2. Choose or type the Supplier, for example “Haarwerk GmbH”. A name that does not exist yet is created as a new supplier (“… will be added as a new supplier.”). The supplier is optional.
  3. Set Arrived on. It defaults to today; a date in the future is not possible.
  4. Enter the Delivery note no. if you have one (for example DN-1043).
  5. Under “Product, brand or barcode” search for the product and tap it, or tap Scan and hold the barcode in front of the camera. Choosing the same product again raises its packs by one.
  6. For each product enter the Packs (whole number, at least 1) and the Purchase price per pack. The purchase price is prefilled with the current value if the product already has one.
  7. Under each product it says what the delivery does: “Stock 4 → 10 · Purchase price €8.00 → €8.50”. The new purchase price is a weighted average of the stock you have and the delivery. With no stock, the delivery's price applies.
  8. Tap Book delivery.

Terminz then reports, for example, “6 packs booked in” with the purchase value. The stock movement with the reason “Delivery” appears on the product page.

The button stays grey while something is missing. Above it says “Still missing: at least one product, quantity for …, purchase price for …”. If you close the form with products entered, Terminz asks whether to discard them.

What the page does not do

You enter the supplier's invoice under Expenses. The page links there with “Go to Expenses”. A booked delivery cannot be changed or deleted from the list. If stock is wrong afterwards, correct it on the product with Adjust stock.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I find my product? It does not exist yet or it is archived. Create it under Products. The search then shows “No match for …”.

Where does the purchase value go? Into the list of deliveries. It only becomes an expense once you record the invoice under Expenses.
